How to Move Into the Student Dormitory:

  1. Upon arriving, you will need to go to the Sofia University Dormitories, Block 8. [https://goo.gl/maps/HMj1Bvde2Tp8pxrz7].
  2. If you arrive during working hours, go to the Dormitory Manager to be informed of your room number and receive your keys. If you arrive after working hours, please contact the responsible person at the International Relations Office (for Erasmus+ students only).
  3. Afterwards, visit the Dormitory Administration’s cash desk to pay the initial fees. [https://goo.gl/maps/9qWJuok3LGs8Bz5e6].
    • Security deposit: 240 BGN (120 Euro)
    • Semester deposit: 20 BGN (10 Euro)
    • Base rent for the first month 120 BGN (60 Euro)
  4. After making the payment, take the receipt to the dorm manager in the block where you are staying.

How to Move Out of the Student Dormitory:

  1. Before beginning the departure process, you MUST first visit the Dormitory Manager of your block. They will calculate the amount you owe for utilities up to your departure date.
  2. Next, visit the cashier desk at the Dormitory Administration (Block 42B) to make the final payment for room departure. [Location here].
  3. After paying, bring the receipt to your Dormitory Manager.
  4. Inform the Dormitory Manager that you wish to move out, and they will assist you in completing the necessary paperwork.
    • Ensure that you have removed all your belongings and that your room is left in the best condition possible.
  5. Your Dormitory Manager will give you a Departure List, which you can use to claim your initial security deposit at the Dormitory Administration cashier desk (Block 42B) https://goo.gl/maps/9qWJuok3LGs8Bz5e6).

Important: If you fail to follow these steps and depart unlawfully, your administrative rights at Sofia University may be suspended, and you will not receive a Transcript of Records at the end of your mobility.
